Published conclusion

Tier 1 — Functional MVP

Verified tier differs from submission

Downgrade to Tier 1. A usable product entry path exists, but the tested core employment journey was shallow and depended on an external platform, so Tier 2 is not yet supported.

Strongest supporting evidence

The strongest evidence supporting the Tier 2 classification is that, after successfully registering as a student/job seeker, the platform surfaced only one opportunity and then redirected the user to an external job-search platform to continue. This is the most significant observation because it directly tests the platform's core value proposition: connecting students with employment opportunities. It supports Tier 2 because the platform demonstrates a functioning product and a real student-facing workflow, but insufficient evidence of the depth, marketplace liquidity and end-to-end recruitment functionality expected of a more mature platform.

Why the next tier is not yet supported

The next tier is not supported because the platform demonstrates that it is live and functional, but does not yet provide sufficient observable evidence of a mature, differentiated and end-to-end student recruitment service. The gap is primarily one of demonstrated product depth and value delivery, rather than basic technical functionality.

Reverified assessment

Verified findings and limitations

Direct review observations

The intern completed Talent registration and reached opportunity listings, but found only one opportunity and the application flow redirected to an external job-search platform. Employer-side recruitment, AI screening and team-management functions were not tested.

Independent verification

The current official site markets an active HR platform for hiring, candidate screening and team management.

Observed issues

The directly tested job-seeker experience showed limited inventory and did not complete an end-to-end hiring workflow within Jobifiy.

Testing limitations

Employer onboarding, candidate ranking, payroll/team tools, paid functions and claimed success metrics were not independently verified.

What was actually assessed

Workflows tested The platform's student/job-seeker onboarding and opportunity-discovery experience. The following workflow was tested: Opened the platform's public-facing homepage. Reviewed the registration options and identified the ability to register as either Talent or Company. Selected Talent to represent a student/job seeker. Completed the registration process without encountering a mandatory payment step. Entered the platform as a student/job seeker. Navigated to the available job/opportunity listings. Tested the process of accessing an opportunity. Found that only one opportunity was available to the newly registered student account. Selected the available opportunity and followed its application/link-out flow. The opportunity redirected to a separate external job-search platform, rather than providing an end-to-end application within the platform. Sequence followed The test therefore followed a linear public website → Talent registration → student account → opportunity discovery → opportunity access → external job platform sequence. This was intended to assess the initial experience of a student entering the platform specifically to find employment. Roles used The primary role tested was Talent, representing a student/job seeker seeking employment opportunities. The Company registration pathway was observed at the registration stage but was not used to create or test a company/employer account. Purposefully out of scope Company/employer onboarding and recruitment workflows. Creation or management of job postings. Candidate ranking or matching functionality from an employer perspective. Payroll management. The advertised AI functionality beyond what was publicly visible. Verification of roles or candidates. Completion of a recruitment process through to hiring. Payment/subscription functionality beyond confirming that registration did not require a mandatory payment. The advertised free 30-minute demo. Independent verification of the platform's marketing claims regarding successful matches, accelerated hiring or AI-powered recruitment. The functionality of the external job-search platform to which the opportunity redirected.

Sandbox verification

Seven checkpoint assessment

The verified result is the official public checkpoint record. For earlier-standard reviews, these findings may have been reconstructed from preserved evidence during Sandbox Africa’s 2026 audit; they are not presented as if the contributor originally completed a structured worksheet. Contributor-submitted checkpoint wording is shown only where explicit public reviewer attribution has been enabled.

Step 1 — The Existence & Accessibility Check

Is it live?

Checking for dead links, infinite loading screens, or "Coming Soon" landing pages masquerading as live products.

Sandbox verifiedpass

What I observed; The platform appears to be live and accessible, because: The registration process was functional. I was able to create a Talent/student account. I could access the student-facing interface after registration. At least one opportunity was available and actionable. The opportunity connected to an external job-search platform. What it means: The test does not demonstrate that the platform is fully operational at scale. The fact that I received an opportunity, and that it redirected me elsewhere, suggests that the student-facing marketplace may have limited live inventory or limited functionality at the time of testing.

Onboarding friction

Can a user or enterprise actually sign up, or is it gated behind broken "Contact Sales" forms?

Sandbox verifiedpass

The platform demonstrates low initial onboarding friction: students can select the Talent pathway and create an account without a mandatory payment step. However, the low-friction registration experience is not necessarily matched by low-friction value realisation. Following registration, an opportunity was surfaced and the user was redirected to an external job-search platform, introducing additional steps outside the platform.

Step 2 — Functional Testing (The "Try It Out" Phase)

Core loop execution

Does the application actually do what it claims to do? (e.g. a payment gateway completing a test transaction, a logistics app's routing engine working.)

Sandbox verifiedpartial

Core-loop execution was partial. The platform successfully enabled student onboarding and opportunity discovery, but the tested journey did not demonstrate a complete recruitment loop. Only one opportunity was surfaced, and pursuing it required leaving the platform, while matching, application completion and outcome/feedback mechanisms were not observable. The platform demonstrated access to the employment journey more strongly than it demonstrated end-to-end value delivery.

User experience (UX) & interface (UI)

Assessing the logical flow, responsiveness, and basic accessibility of the platform.

Sandbox verifiedpartial

The platform presents a relatively clear and low-friction interface for entering the student/job-seeker journey. However, the UX is weakened by limited observable opportunity inventory and an external hand-off at the point of application. This creates a fragmented experience and means that the interface successfully facilitates entry into the platform more convincingly than it facilitates completion of the student's core task: finding and applying for relevant work.

Step 3 — Technical & Architectural Assessment

Performance

Load speeds, uptime reliability, and basic stress responses.

Sandbox verifiedpartial

The platform performed adequately during the tested onboarding journey, with registration, account access, opportunity retrieval and external redirection functioning without an observed technical failure. However, the assessment provides limited evidence regarding underlying technical performance, as load times, scalability, uptime and performance under higher user volumes were not tested. The limited number of opportunities observed is therefore better interpreted as a potential marketplace/inventory limitation rather than a confirmed technical performance issue.

Integration readiness

Availability, clarity, and functionality of API documentation and webhooks.

Sandbox verifiedpartial

The platform demonstrates basic integration readiness through its ability to connect users with external job-search services. However, the tested workflow relied on an external hand-off rather than demonstrating a deeply integrated recruitment journey. No evidence was observed of data synchronisation, API-driven workflows, shared application status or integrations with institutional, recruitment or payroll systems. As a result, the platform appears capable of connecting to external services, but its broader integration maturity could not be validated through the tested student workflow.

Security basics

SSL certification, basic encryption standards, and data handling transparency.

Sandbox verifiednot assessed

No technical assessment was conducted of authentication strength, authorisation controls, data encryption, privacy controls, vulnerability management or regulatory compliance. The external redirection also introduces a separate security boundary, although the test did not establish whether user data was transferred between the platforms. Overall, basic security functionality was observable, but broader security maturity remains unverified.
